Parking in Coogee is mostly street parking and restrictions vary by street, so always check the signs before leaving your vehicle.

⚠️ Important Notes

Parking limits generally apply between 8am and 8pm. Outside these hours, check the street signs for any additional restrictions.
All parking on the left side of Alfreda Street is rear-to-kerb parking only. Cars parked incorrectly can be fined.
Parking can be very competitive, especially on weekends, public holidays, and during summer.

If you’re staying for a few days, try to find a space in one of the 24-hour parking areas on Dolphin Street or nearby side streets shown in green on the map. These are the most convenient options for avoiding frequent vehicle moves.

Tip for guests: If you can’t find a 24-hour spot when you arrive, park in a shorter-term space temporarily, check in, and then move your car when a longer-term spot becomes available.

24-hour free parking – Best option if you don’t need to move your car. Located mainly around the western side of the map (near Powell St and parts of Dolphin St).
4-hour free parking (8am–8pm) – Available along sections bordering Coogee Oval and near Alfreda Street.
2-hour free parking (8am–8pm) – Common around Dolphin Street, Mount Street, and parts of Parkes Street.
1-hour free parking (8am–8pm) – Found closer to Coogee Oval and along some sections of Coogee Bay Road.
