Hostel Manager

🌴 Hostel Manager – Mad Monkey Coogee Beach (Sydney)

Join the Mad Monkey tribe!
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Hostel Manager to lead our energetic team at Mad Monkey Coogee Beach — one of Sydney’s most vibrant beachfront hostels.

As Hostel Manager, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day operations, including guest experience, financial performance, events, and team leadership. You’ll bring creativity, organization, and a hands-on attitude to make sure every guest leaves with unforgettable memories.

What You’ll Do

Oversee hostel operations — reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
Lead, train, and motivate a fun, high-performing team.
Drive guest satisfaction and manage online reviews.
Plan and run awesome events and social activities.
Support social media and content creation that captures the Mad Monkey vibe.

About You

2+ years in a management role (preferably in hostels or accommodation).
4+ years of hospitality experience with strong leadership skills.
Confident using PMS systems (Cloudbeds a plus).
Financially savvy and operationally organized.
Creative, people-focused, and love building community.
